The Unofficial Job Scope
My position at this new place is 'Secretary'. I am to assist the team's work and of course the boss' as well. At times, I would have to arrange for their flights too. The problem is, this is a local company and thus far, I've only arranged for 3 or 4 trips.
My administrative duties are very minimal. Too minimal! Most times, I will have to drag my work just so I have something to do till the end of the day.
Those mentioned above are my official job scope.
I do feel that facebook-ing and msn-ing daily are part of my scope of work as well. An unofficial one perhaps. Sounds perfect? It's not! Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts that it doesn't feel as good as it sounds. Yes I can surf the net but imagine surfing in discreet for hours. That is not enjoyable at all. Yes I can msn openly but still, if the higher ranking human beings see me on it each time they pass by my table, that can be quite awkward.
I'm tired of acting busy, trying to look for things to do. To be honest, I really do not know why they need 2 secretaries in the office. What I do in this new place is 1/8 of what I used to do in DP.
There's a lot of other negative issues going on in the office. For now, I'm just hoping for something better. I can't go on like this - it's really disturbing.
