Counting Down
It's 3 days to my birthday, 2 days to Pasha's
This Christmas will be my fifth year of knowing Aid. That's half a decade!
Of course we are going to celebrate it and it will be celebrated in a different way altogether. I can't wait! So can't wait!

Random Thoughts On A Long Sunday
Today seems so long. I thought it's already time for Fitri Season 3 but it's only a quarter passed 8 o'clock.
I woke up early today. The body clock has been back to normal. Sleeping is no longer a problem and I'm glad I've managed to cut down on my caffeine intake.
Listening to the radio while blogging and it's amazing how songs can really make us go back to certain paths and make us reminisce certain memories. Most times, I'll end up smiling or relieved and utter to myself 'things happen for a reason'.
I'm still not over what happened on the wee hours of Saturday morning. How could someone dumped us like that? I know not only me but all of us are put off by that incident. Not saying anything does not mean I had no complaints. I was just speechless and truly disappointed and I know damn well that I am not over-reacting cause like I said all of us felt the pinch. What an ingrate!
I'm seeing less of Aid of late. His afternoon shift suck and the OT clashes with my working hours. We communicate more on text messages than on calls. Will I 'stray' due to his negligence? No I will not cause he's getting better at time management and his sleeping problems have become tolerable.
Work has been getting better for me. I have more responsibilities now and I'll be getting my first pay real soon. Time passes by real fast - it's almost a month now.
The end-of-the-year sale birthday has started. I can't wait to count down my 27th birthday with the babes - have no clue at all what they're up to this year. The following week will be the celebration of two 25 year-olds. We're still cracking for ideas though we already have something planned. We're gonna have major problems next year planning for birthdays - we've used up almost every places of interests in Singapore.
An uncle passed away yesterday. A happy thought would be thinking that he'll be reunited with my aunt in that other world. Looked at him for the last time last night and I started to get flash-backs of dad's funeral. I shan't elaborate further cause this is really a sensitive issue for me.
I'm having one of those days with so many thoughts running through my head. Sometimes I feel that I think too much but thinking is always better than not thinking right? I wish I can type out my thoughts but there are just too many words and the sentences are all jumbled up.
This shall be my last paragraph as Bibik is out of the shower and I need her to massage my aching shoulders. Till my next entry...

Goodbye Bummer, Hello Secretary
I believe the title is a big hint of this entry. Yes! I'm back to work after 7 months of not working. So to those who think I've got nothing else to do but to send emails, shame on you and if you're reading this, double shame on you!!
Anyway, I'm really lucky to have gotten this job. Out of so many companies I sent my resume to, none called. A friend called on a Tuesday to tell me that he has arranged an interview for me at 430pm the next day. I went without even knowing the full name of the company and nailed it - right there and then. Talk about being lucky! Well, being an ex-DPian played a big part too!
Same industry, same line, some familiar faces just a different area and a little difference in the job scope. By little, I mean really little. What's great is that they do not practice any probation period but of course there are certain of its policies which I wish can be changed but it's all minor.
I find it funny when suppliers/despatch guys give me the 'hey I've seen you somewhere' kindda look. Before they even ask, I'd say 'DP' and smile. It's nice to know that some still remember my name.
I'm in my 3rd week now and the only complaint I have (thus far) would be the boss being too laid back. My first few days, I almost died of boredom but that's also the plus point. It's nothing like DP where everyone would be rushing for this dateline, that dateline, this trip, that trip etc etc.
Another great point is that it's near to Fid'z and Radia's work place so I get to meet Fidz for lunch and see Radia whenever I want. If only Elis' company did not shift elsewhere.
I have one problem though, I think I've put on weight even though the digits are still the same, I feel heavy. See, when I was a bummer, I ate once a day or twice the most but ever since I started work, I've been having 3 complete meals a day. I don't snack but those 3 meals have given me the bulge. Big bulge at the tummy and sometimes when I sit I can feel its lower part touching my left thigh! Arrrgh!
Now, both my butt and my tummy are protruding and that's definitely not sexy!
P.S Happy Birthday TB. I'll be celebrating it with you for 2 consecutive days (tomorrow and the day after) with different clicks! I love birthdays!

Storage Space Needed Urgently!
I've stopped shopping for months. I've given away a few bags of my unused stuffs. Despite all that, my things are still over-flowing and for some weird reasons, I still have 'nothing to wear' whenever I wanna get out of the house even though I have a drawer full of new clothes!
What makes me late for appointments all the time will be the part when I have to decide what to wear. Shower and make up will only take about 30 - 40 minutes but the decision making part will be time consuming and by the time I have something to wear, I'll end up in the shower again cause by then, I'll be feeling sticky - result of perspiring during the said decision making!
I hate that! BIG TIME!
Okay, I've lost my point of this entry. Wanted to blog about something else but I"ll save that for another entry on another day.
I shall continue sorting out my unused clothes (again) to give it away since my brother's maid is going back next week.

The 'Real' Wishlist
Since some of my beloved friends are getting their pay today. I figured it's best to post my wishlist today. According to some, the previous entry wasn't the real but I really want Pasha hokay!
Anyway, here are 9 things which I want (9 because 2+7=9).
1) white working bag
2) apparels (no clubbing apparels please - I need 'proper' attires badly!)
3) Friends DVD (season 8/9)
5) lingerie
6) red/bronze watch
7) sandals (size 8 or 40)
8) red bikini
9) epilator
However, again I'm saying if I get to meet Oprah or Pasha, you don't have to get me anything!

That Happening Friday Night
Last year, I got Ungu's DVD for my pre-birthday present from Nani. This year, she brought me to their concert. Unfortunately, we got the tickets at the last minute and apparently it's my fault! Chet!
1st part of the night was the said concert - we were quite taken aback when we were told that we had gotten the 'worst' seats but I told myself, I'd rather have the worst seats than not being there.
At Esplanade, we were more taken aback when we found out that row H was the highest. We knew the seats were bad but we didn't expect it to be at the highest level! We should have known since H stands for highest eh!
However, our view was right in the middle and we could see everything so clearly and trust me ours were not the worst seats. My sympathy to those who were seating by the railings.
Even though they decided to leave the stage abruptly, it was a fantastic concert. Pasha's voice gave me multiple orgasms! Not literally of course!
As we went down the steep stairs carefully with our killer heels, we saw people queuing and found out that there was gonna be an autograph session. We didn't bother to join the queue cause it was super long BUT as we were approaching the exit we saw the tables where they would be sitting (to sign) and immediately decided to stay put. Right there and right in front of few groups of people. They definitely were cursing us! Hahaha!
As soon as they came in through the glass door, everyone rushed in that we were pushed to the back. Of course we - especially me squeezed our way through the front and there I was less than 2 meters away from him calling his name like a little girl just to make him smile for my camera and I GOT IT! I was the happiest girl that night!
We then crossed over and had late dinner at MacDonalds. Fazlie fetched us and off we went to Marriot.
2nd Part of the night was Halloween at Barnone - it was 6 of us in total. One being part of the club's in-house band, we were given an almost VIP treatment. I shan't elaborate what happened there but it was a perfect ending. It was the most happening night for me in 2008 thus far.
We shall meet more often fellow ex-classmates...:)

Smiling Mode
I know I'm supposed to blog about what I did on Friday but something 'bigger' took place today and I am so glad everything went smoothly.
After all the drama, we're done and over with it.
