6 Days Left!!!
6 more days of fasting and it'll be Hari Raya! As much as I can't wait for that day to come, I do wish that I can pause time for a little bit. Only yesterday I realised this weekend will be the last weekend of Ramadhan! I have not finished my orders. Neither have my sister. I have not been able to tidy my room. That's nothing new I know but the hall, it's still in a mess. Mess is an understatement! Clothes everywhere! Bags everywhere! Books everywhere! Junks everywhere!
This is the first year after many, many years we do not have our maid with us! Ida, come back quick!
But then again, the house wouldn't be this messy if the whole family decides to stay put in their own house right?
9 human beings in a HDB flat - it just won't work! Not for me at least!!!

Ramadhan Dates
People usually lose weight during this month but I don't think I have. Had wanted to stand on the scale but I changed my mind for fear of disappointment. Simply because, I don't 'feel smaller' and the clothes don't seem to be looser.
Second week of Ramadhan met The Girls at Sakura Far East and we were the loudest and stayed the longest there. Having the table that was in the middle of the restaurant made us the centre of attraction even more.
Oh and I arrived late - halfway through their meal. Tsk!
The plan was to brainwash TB after buka at some coffee joints but since she had done that to herself, we headed to Geylang and had our supper there! How to lose weight like that??!
we just couldn't fit into the screen!
The next day Aid and I broke fast at the boutique. His mum gave me an embroidered Kebaya! :D
That same week on Saturday was Adik's birthday. The whole of Chai Chee Mates (with the addition of Syu'ailah this time) broke fast at Radiah's place. Aid and Mat (and restless Irfan) were there too.
Again I was late and due to my lateness, Aid and Nani had to break their fast late! Grr!
We had to wait till the guys were done with the football match to proceed to Geylang and of course I ate a lot! After Geylang we went to Mustafa Center just because I wanted to get a particular eyeliner! We all ended up buying 2 eyeliners each and I just can't wait put it on!

Just last Friday, I had a threesome date with Fidz and Dinna at Fidz's place. It was a pot luck kind of thing. I brought food from home and so did Dinna. She made my favourite potato dish which had become Fidz's favourite now.
We just couldn't stop eating that night. From 7pm to 2am I had food in my mouth! Again, how to lose weight??!!
As always time spent with Fidz are special as we don't meet everyday and when we meet, it'll be yakking sessions. That day was a bit different as Dinna was there and she too poured her heart out about some things under the sun. She text me the next day to say how much she enjoyed the previous night and to plan for another session.
Yesterday, I had a date with Aid. Just the 2 of us. Initial plan was to get our haircut at Vincci's but time didn't permit.I got frustrated and vented it on Aid. Oops! We met anyway and had a good meal that made us sleepy and full right after.

We then rode to Marina Square and we both went to get haircuts! Yup! I cut my hair again!

pink-less

from this to

the drastic cut

and just when I was able to tie the hair again, I cut it even shorter than the one above
that's us after the cut

shorter and with bangs!
I just love doing things to my hair!

Where Is The Originality?
Where is the originality here? If same designs, different colours are considered different or original, I rest my case. Wait, that phrase sounds familiar. I'm not a copy cat so let me rephrase that with 'I've got nothing to say'.
What's more, it's from the same site. The site which I discovered. Coincidence perhaps?
This is not a retaliation just me letting out my frustrations on unethical practices. All is fair in this line and I've got something that most people yearn for - true friends. Lots of them! Those that matters will definitely give me their support voluntarily.
INSYALLAH everything will work out fine with no underhand means of course!

Beloved TB got herself a new look and she came over to my place just because I wanted to see it first! I love the look and I love her. To that asshole person who doesn't know to appreciate her - it's YOUR loss but on second thought, thanks for doing that because she deserves better anyway!

Wide Awake
Time now is almost 6am! I have not had a wink since 4pm yesterday. I shan't start whining about my sleepless night. It's the same old tune over and over again. Even I am getting sick of it. I guess it's time to seek help. By that I mean professional's help - and by professional, I mean doctor. Nothing else. :)
Anyway, I can't wait to meet the girls later. Can't wait to have my Tom Yam soup and Sambal Sotong too!
Mak Nenek, what time I'll meet you depends on what time I'll wake up later! Very unlikely that I'll see you at 4pm though! :~D

Intermittent Break Bleeding
Something is not right. I got my menses on Friday night so obviously I didn't fast the next day. However after my date with Aid on that same day, I realised I had stop bleeding. I slept and woke up when the alarm went off at about 430am. Ate and showered (mandi bersih to be exact).
I managed to fast the whole of yesterday without any hiccups - Alhamdulillah. Did the same routine this morning, had my Sahur and while chatting with 'Stalker', I felt it, checked and yes I was bleeding...again. I was in denial for awhile (haha!) till Stalker reminded me to buka.
So here I am, not fasting for another day and would not be for the next 5 days or so. Well, at least I didn't start bleeding an hour before buka time right?
On a serious note, what is wrong...down there? I've been experiencing this intermittent bleeding for a few months now and I've checked. Apparently there's nothing wrong.
Maybe I'm just weird special!

Fasting While Jobless
You know what's great about fasting this year? I get to sleep during the day! No more handling nuisance calls, repeating of words, dealing with irritating suppliers, serving guests and the best of all - NO MORE feeling sleeping while rushing a report and NO MORE rushing home just to be in time for buka.
Yeah! I'm loving it!
Now after sahur, I can sleep till late afternoon. I don't usually sleep before that and I'll only start feeling sleepy at 4am so I've been sleeping after sahur and wake up late. When I was working, the moment I started feeling sleepy was the moment I had to go get ready for work. That could be really frustrating.
So ya, again I'm saying I'm loving it!
However, I am feeling kindda lethargic since the first day of Ramadan. I think I'm really lacking of oxygen. I've been cooping myself too much at home. Not healthy!! I need to get out. I need to get out and make money! I need a job! Yes! I think that will cure almost everything and yes I've finally started sending resumes again.
Wish me luck people cause it's been a long time since I last saw a particular 4-figure in my account every month end!

Back To Back
I didn't expect to be so occupied during the last week of August. Nani's birthday celebration was on Wednesday and the next day was Irin's.
Even though Nani's was a really laid back one, it still ended in the wee hours. Could not join them earlier as I had to meet a 'new friend'. Had small talks and off to give Nani a surprise at the Karaoke place in Ming Arcade. Was stranded in town while waiting for Mimi and Adik to arrive.
After karaoke we headed to Newton for a not-so-much seafood meal. Aid joined us for awhile just to see the birthday girl and of course to take me home too. Hee!
If I remember correctly I think I got home at about 3am and slept an hour after that.
Had to get up early as I was supposed to run errands before meeting the girls. Thank GOD Ameerah agreed to do me that particular favour. Fetched TB at about 430pm followed by Mak Nenek and The East Side girls reached Marriot first that day! Yey!
However, they came soon after and finally the Queen of Blindfolds got blindfolded that day and the next to be blindfolded on her birthday would be the culprit that blindfolded Irin! *evil grin*

Despite feeling nervous, she could still pose. The most challenging part was escorting her into the cruise. She almost got her foot trapped (of course she had no idea until everything ended) and she was getting so restless while waiting for the food to be served.
Well who cares! Haha! We did get her speechless when the blindfold was finally allowed to be taken off. Do check out the video here http://kishlis.multiply.com/video/item/31 and you'll see what I mean.
We then headed to the same Karaoke place I went for Nani's birthday and headed to Attica after that. Parted our ways at Spize at almost 6am!
I thought I would be sleeping but oh well, I woke up before noon! What's new right? Didn't go out that day though cause I was just feeling tired and Aid felt lazy.
Friday met up with Sarina again. The irony is this - we had been planning to meet for months and without any planning, we met twice in a week!
Had a meal with her at Whitesands as she had an interview somewhere in Changi South. It was a sumptuous meal. After she left I went back to White Sands to look for a present. Present for my beloved Fidz. She finally graduated from school! Hopefully, we'll see each other more often now since no more classes on certain days. Basically no more excuses for us to only meet every 3 months or so.
She definitely has the 5Bs - Beauty, Brains, Boobs, Butts and Boys. Also, that Saturday she finally got to meet Aid! Even though that was only the first time, it seems just the opposite. Well, they've heard so much about each other - from me of course!

I thought I would just hang out at her place for awhile. Little did I know 'for awhile' would be till 430am! Fidz was forced to stay up! Hahah! Together with us was her sister. The sister that studied psychology and since she's there, we made her read our (Aid and mine) handwriting!
It's really amazing how much you can find out from one's handwriting. Not only the present but also the past. Really amazing!
Got home at about 5am and AId had a sudden mood swing that made me go Arrgh!
Woke up early the next day cause my sister treated us to a high-tea session with 'Fitri & Farrel'. Waduh! Handsome bangat dong!!!

So that's how I spent last week.
On a different note, Happy Fasting to all! *smiles*
