Awww....
Aid left me again - for yet another holiday! He did tell me beforehand. Though I wished he would have stayed, I didn't stop him. I didn't even sulk. However today, I got so frustrated by that fact! Actually, it started from yesterday! Tried calling him but connection was bad and we made do with lots of sms-es. Most times, he replied promptly. Sometimes it took him hours! This morning, I tried calling him but to no avail and when I could get through, he didn't answer! He claimed he had sent me 5 sms-es though.
It was getting bored at home and I was thinking if only he had been in town, we would have gone out and do whatever. Boredom led to frustrations and since I had an 'excuse' to be in a bitch fit, why not?!
I started to give him unpleasant messages and we ended up having a little tiff. It was really a small petty one. I got even more frustrated when he told me he was going to sleep via SMS! Arrgggh!!!
Tried to distract myself and while surfing the net he called and told me he was at my block and when asked what was he doing downstairs - he said he wanted to pass me the PJs that he had bought me. Of course I was surprised and went 'Awwwwww'. Went down with a spoon (cause he told me to) and there he was with a plastic bag filled with a bottle of water and a tub of Ben & Jerry. Then, he passed me a bag filled with a nice long necklace, 2-pc swimsuit (though he claimed those are PJs) and an awesome glittery gold bag.
That was indeed a sweet gesture!
Can I just go 'aaawww' again for the fact that he's tired and for the fact that he's on morning shift tomorrow or rather in a few hours time?!
