Another Year Another Surprise
The celebration this year was quite similar to last year's only that he didn't know beforehand that I got him a room. It's hard not to make him suspect or expect anything on his birthday. I think I managed to make him think that I was not gonna be there to celebrate with him. Due to that, we had an argument! Chet!
So here's the details:
We were supposed to meet on Friday. Told him to get ready at 11.30pm and he was supposed to fetch me half an hour later. I was all ready then. Left the house at midnight and took a cab to his block. Waited for about 20 minutes with a cake and ran to him the moment he got out of the lift. His expression was simply priceless! *smiles*
I woke up early on Saturday cause I was so anxious and excited of what's gonna happen the later part of the day. I reckon Radia got excited too cause she had arranged something for us. So typical of us to get excited over birthdays! Haha!
Made my way to InterContinental Hotel, met her at the lobby and she checked me in a room with lovely amenities. Thanks babe! Tried to decorate the room but Aid was getting cranky cause he had waited for an hour. Wanted to have candles all over the room but only managed to have it in the toilet which was just fine.
Met him outside Swensens. He was in his cranky mood which put me off for awhile but I had to cut him some slack since it's his birthday. *roll eyes*
We then headed to the hotel and Radia brought us to the lounge and that's where we had the cake-cutting session with the staffs singing and him blushing.
After that, Radia brought us to see the 'pool' which in the end became our stay for the night. By the way babe, he thought Zubir was Vijay ok! WTF!
Spent some quality time together and the invited guests came. I was glad all of them came 'punctually' and I managed to cut the cake before midnight.
