Being A BummerSo I have been a bummer for a month now. I've been keeping myself occupied by facing the computer for hours since I came back from my vacation. 'Deal Or No Deal' has been my favourite evening TV shows.Am I enjoying my bumming days?Well, to a certain extend I am. These days, I'm migraine-free (See! That confirms everything - it was the stress I had in the office that gave me those unpleasant spells). I no longer have to rush in the mornings - making sure that I'd be out of the house by 830am just so I would be in the office before 10am. I no longer feel shitty in the mornings when it came to choosing clothes that I would still be able to fit! I have been free from unpleasant smells of those people who chose not to shower or even brushed their teeth before getting out of the house and I no longer have to drag myself to walk from City Hall MRT to Marina Square. Best of all, I no longer have to deal with last minute paper work routines. No more calls from persistent suppliers chasing for payments, no more repeating to myself that 'patience is a virtue' when angry clients insisted on talking to the boss when the boss simply refused! In other words - clearing the boss's mess! I am free from all those at the moment. Like I said, I am enjoying my bumming days to a certain extend.I love the fact that I can go out with Aid in the day instead of the evenings and spend more time with my mum. At least she has company at home now that Ida has gone back to her hometown indefinitely to spend time with her sick sister.However, I am getting bored. Very bored already! Seriously bored! I really wonder at times how I actually managed to bum around for 3 years before joining DP. Probably cause I was younger then and I found satisfaction just by bumming and wasting my time away.. Heh!So I guess it's time to get that highlighter out!
