Hot Mama's Birthday
It's the Hot Mama's 50th birthday! Well, it felt as if she was celebrating her 50th. She was celebrating from Friday till Sunday and she even went for a paid-for shopping spree on Thursday. Chet! *jealous mode*
Picture below was taken on Friday at Radiah's place. We had the birthday girl's favourite Mee Soup.
I went back to her place and stayed there till about almost 5am. That was indeed a memorable night for us! *smiling and frowning at once*I was feeling kindda moody the next day. I was really forcing myself to be out of the house and putting on a happy face. I realised trying to smile when you're upset is really 'plastic' - I can't describe that particular feeling I had on that day. I left those feelings in the hotel room and had a great night at Movida. We all had fun in fact! We didn't expect to have so many friends around us that night that actually came for the party. The best present Hot Mama got that night was when someone all the way from KL made a surprise appearance at the party. She was moved to tears k! That was really sweet of AdeQ! *jealous mode again*
Back to the party, it was a blast! All of us enjoyed ourselves very much! It was really nice to have great companies around us - everyone mingled with everyone. Well almost everyone. *roll eyes* Everyone ended up not so sober! Heh! We left Movida and headed to Living Room. After an hour or so Azmir, AdeQ, Nani, TB and myself ended up at MacDonalds for breakfast! After which we parted with them and went back to the hotel.

I went to my nephew's birthday party straight from the hotel with Aid. Slept for barely 2 hours, got ready and left the house to celebrate the last moments of Hot Mama's birthday. I left earlier as I had to go to work the following day. I ended being in a cab with a sleepy (not sure if he was sleepy or drunk) driver and it was scary ok!
Before I end this entry let me type few more sentences - there's a saying that says 'the older you are, the wiser you'll be' right? Well, someone had left the hotel but had to come back cause she brought back Cha-Cha's car keys home. Is that a sign of being wiser??? Errrr.....
Having said that, things really happened for a reason - she got to taste her complimentary birthday cake which was YuMMY!
The next day was a Monday. It was tiring - thank GOD Aid decided to fetch me. I ended my day with my migraine pills...
p.s I want my birthday to have the same crowd of people can?

Our Beautiful Mistake
We met in the club, you approached with an unusual line
I responded with a frown though I thought you looked quite fine
We were familiar faces to each other, hence it's no wonder
we ended up on the dance floor and supper together
We clicked right away and became phone mates immediately
The chemistry was great and we enjoyed each others' company
It all started after that incident in the club,

On A Mood-Swing Friday
The weather is weird. It's raining awhile ago and now it's sunny. Hence the title of this entry. Heh!
I didn't go to work today cause I'm having this lazy sickness. Woke up at around 8+ and felt really good. I felt fresh, happy and quite hyped up.
I've been feeling real sleepy lately though. I actually slept before 9pm few nights back and the past 2 nights, I slept not later than 1030pm! It's amazing that I'm able to sleep that early cause usually my early is 1am or so. Despite sleeping early, I still fell asleep in the train the past few mornings! I just could not open my eyes! My battery has probably gone flat after those sleepless nights I guess.. *wink*
It's Friday, 24th today (and tomorrow is 25th!!!!!) and I'll be meeting the Chai Chee mates later in the evening to have a pre-birthday celebration for the Hot Mama. Too bad Adik can't make it since she's still in confinement of her late husband's death.
The real celebration will be tomorrow with the Peri-Peri girls together with ... (Cha, I'm trying to find a nick for you. Can we make do with dwarf in the meantime? :P) and a few other close friends.
TB and Cha-Cha bought new dresses for tomorrow. They are so looking forward to it! So am I but not much! Sorry babe, as much as I wanna look forward to your birthday, something puts me off! I'm sure you'll understand and don't worry I'll put on a smile and be next to you no matter what.
Ok gotta go now! I'm meeting Dinna for coffee. It's been awhile since we chilled out of her house! Hmmmph!!! Marriage sucks! Ooops!

My Sleepless Nights
I have not been sleeping well since Sunday! My panda eyes are even more panda-ed now.
On Sunday, I finally realised that I should stop wasting my time waiting for a call which I was supposed to be getting on Thursday and decided to meet Nani and TB at Coffee Bean. We ended up in Simpang Bedok together with Cha-Cha till almost 2 or 3 am.
Monday was crazy at work cause I was the only secretary in the office. All 3 directors were present! The lady boss was travelling on that night and it was a real chaos!!! I didn't even have time to pee! Met Mas for a catching-up session at Simei and came home at almost 11pm.
Tuesday was a day full of activities! I could not wait to knock off as Cha-Cha and I were going to Gwen Steffani's concert. We both were really excited and oh ya! speaking of that, the ushers didn't even tear my ticket okay! Which means, I could have passed the ticket to a friend and he/she could have gotten in for free by reusing my ticket!!! Of course that didn't happen cause I'm a civilised Singaporean. I follow rules! Rite!!!
Concert was nice, the sound was superb! We both enjoyed ourselves despite the fact that she sang most of her P.T.G (personal joke) songs. We headed to Boat Quaye rite after cause someone was hungry (she had burger just before we went to the concert fyi) and we left after an hour. That has already passed midnight. That was not the end of my day though, it was the beginning of my night instead. I partied in JB again! Slept for barely 2 hours and went to work.
I promised myself to sleep early last night. Well I did! I slept at 530am!! That's early right? Woke up at 715am and went to work.
I left the office at almost 8pm today. Amazingly, I was not feeling sleepy while at work. It's almost 1am right now and I am still awake!
I'm beginning to feel groggy already. I'd better sleep soon cause tomorrow might be another long night since it's gonna be the weekeeeeennnnd!

Great Companies = Great Time
Everyone seems to claim that partying in Kuala Lumpur is way better than Singapore. Been there, done that and I do agree it's better to a certain extent. Better because the drinks are cheaper and you can be crazy or dance on the podium like a pole dancer without being conscious as the chances of seeing familiar faces are very low. unlike here. Apparently, JB is a better place too.
Nani and I heard so much about the clubs in JB. After a few cancelled trips, we finally made it last Friday with a few friends. Though it was not exactly that fantastic, we did have fun. Most importantly, it was a great quality time spent! *smiles*
However, I don't quite agree that those places are better places to party than our very own hometown. I still think our clubs are nicer and better. For the record, our toilets are much cleaner!!
I guess at the end of the day, it's the company you're with that's important. We can be in the best clubs in the whole wide world but if the people we're with suck, the night will be a sucky one. Likewise, if we were to be in the worst clubs but with great companies, it'll be a splendid night!

Where Have I (Not) See You?
Went to Movida with Nani and Cha Cha last night. It was very packed but overall was alright. Ifrah dropped by but left barely half an hour later cause she was too drunk to stay! Hah! By the way Mas, it was nice seeing you again after so long! *smiles*
Speaking of clubs, being in one you will definitely experience pick-up lines from men at least once in your lifetime. Well guys, I think you really should stop using the 'you look familiar' line. That is so passe and please try to be original at least!
Few weeks back, a guy came up to me and said 'Nice Shoes!' Err..Am I supposed to feel honoured by that when you'd rather look at my shoes than my face? Don't get me wrong, I was not offended at all. I did say 'Thank You' to him together with 'Losers' being echoed by the bunch of guys that was my company that particular night! They were the ones disturbed by that line as a matter of fact! Hahaha!
In KL, I got 'I want to dance with you can?' and when I declined, he asked 'Why? Is it because you don't like me?'. WTF!!
Last night, Ifrah got, 'can you please pass me the serviettes?' when that fellow's hand was long enough to reach those. Nani got that infamous 'you look familiar' line. She replied with a smile 'Obviously cause I'm a poster girl' I think that was a good one and I'm gonna use that in future! Hahahaha!
So what's the best pick up line? Why do you need one to begin with? Wouldn't it be easier if you just go to the girl and say you wanna get to know her name or number or even the colour of her underwear (of course with the risk of getting a slap at the end of the question)?
I always wonder why do people love beating around the bush? Being straightforward is always the best I would say...

Introducing The Peri-Peri Girls
The bummer of going on leave is when you come back and see lots of 'love notes' on your desk. I saw those notes and since I was still in my 'warming-up' mode, I simply ignored those piles of work and worked at my own pace!
Due to that, I left the office at almost 9pm today! Despite that, I'm still not finished ok! Damn it!
Anyways, if you wonder how was our KL trip? It was great! How can it not be great? 4 'single' ladies out on a foreign country with 1 thing in mind - P.A.R.T.Y!
Oh ya! We missed our bus! It's mine and TB's fault but TB will blame it on the cab driver though! Hehehe! Whatever it is, we had fun. I've got another Gemini in my list! Rozalina is a typical Gemini ok! She is so Aid and Cha!
By the way, we've decided to call ourselves the Peri-Peri girls! I hope Nandos have got no copyright of those names ya!

Great Weekend - I Hope It Will Be
Yey! I'm getting the vibes already! Now I'm beginning to feel the excitement. Weehoo!
It's almost 2am and I've not packed yet. I'm feeling sleepy actually. I am full and sleepy! I had my dinner at midnight cause I left the office at 830pm and Aid brought me to the tailor and he sent me home right after without even asking if I've had dinner or not. Chet!
Came back at about 10pm and slept right away - I was that tired! Nani's call woke me up and I don't know what the hell I blabbered to her. Now that I'm fully awake, I'm sure she is sleeping like a pig cause she has yet to reply my sms. Hmmph!
Back to KL - seriously at this moment, I'm looking forward to it! I can already picture us in Cyna, Bed, Loft etc! I Like...!
OK! I'd better go pack now. Meeting the Bedok ladies in 5 hours time! TB, let's prove to them that we are capable of being early alright and please don't play golf this time! Muahahahaha! *personal joke*

It's Already August!!!
Can you, can you, can you believe it's already August??? In 4 months time, we'll be counting down to 2008! Grr!!! That's a scary thought isn't it?
Is it gonna be a mental disorder month? I don't know. I don't even wanna think about it. I'm trying hard to brush aside all the pessimistic thoughts that's been running through my head.
Let's move on to 'Happy Occasions' that's gonna take place this month - KL this weekend (babes, I'm still not feeling the vibes eh!). Oh ya! Speaking of KL, somebody was sooo smart to cancel our accommodation before confirming elsewhere and that somebody was so panicking! Kental k! Haha! Then, there's Gwen Steffani's concert. Akon is coming to town too! Cha, I can only go to one. Wait! Let me rephrase - Cha, I can only afford to go to one! *grin*
